IV Nutrient Therapy
We offer customized IV nutrient therapy in our relaxing IV Suite
IV nutrient therapy delivers high doses of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants to support a range of conditions including acne, dry skin, fatigue, insomnia, weight management and much more!
Who Can Benefit?
IV Therapy is especially useful for individuals with a higher need for specific nutrients, including athletes, in pregnancy, students, professionals under high levels of acute or chronic stress, and those with acute illness or lowered immune function. Even those who are healthy over all but want an extra boost can benefit from IV Therapy.
How it works
All of our patients are assessed and treated by our experienced naturopathic doctors. The assessment includes a thorough health screen to determine if IV therapy is safe & indicated for you. Each drip has been carefully researched and designed to give you the most safe and effective treatment.
Book your appointment, consult with your doctor, sit back, relax, and enjoy your drip!
Consults are approximately 15 minutes. Once you are hooked up your drip will take 35-45 minutes. Plug in your headphones, grab a book, watch TV or simply relax.
Your practitioner may recommend IV Glutathione treatment - either on its own or in conjunction with a vitamin drip.
Glutathione is one of your body’s most powerful antioxidants. It provides antioxidant protection for your brain, liver, arteries, lungs and skin, while supporting your immune system. Glutathione levels naturally decline with age!
Glutathione can be used as part of many types of treatment programs including:
- Immune Support programs
- Detoxification programs
- Athletic Recovery programs
- Anti-Aging programs
Don’t have time for an IV? Your practitioner may recommend a vitamin shot. We offer quick and easy nutrient booster shots for our patients on the go. Your naturopathic physician will conduct a brief consult and administer a customized nutrient shot in your arm for fast and effective delivery.
Vitamin shots can form a part of many treatment programs including:
- Metabolism balancing programs
- Energy boosting programs
- Immune Support programs
In addition your practitioner may recommend a single nutrient shot such as B12 or Vitamin D to help correct specific nutrient deficiencies.

If this is your first IV treatment, your doctor will ask you about your medication and/or supplements. Please bring a list with the names, strength and dosages of all prescription, over-the-counter medications or supplements with you.
Please wear a shirt that can roll-up above your elbow to allow easy access to your arm.
The more hydrated you are, the more easily accessible your veins are, making for a more comfortable treatment.
Some of the vitamins and minerals can have a temporary blood sugar, and blood pressure lowering effect, which can make you feel light headed and nauseous during or after your IV if you haven’t eaten.
If we are sedentary right before an IV, our vessels may be smaller and more difficult to access. Moving your body before treatment is one of the best things you can do to help ensure a successful treatment.
Avoid Over-Counter Medications:
Please try to avoid the use of anti-histamine or decongestant drugs 24 hours prior to your IV treatment. These medications have a constricting action on blood vessels, which can make your treatment more challenging. The use of Advil or aspirin can increase bruising *
Allow Yourself Enough Time:
Give yourself enough time to arrive so you can get comfortable and relaxed prior to your treatment. This will make your experience more enjoyable and effective.
Nutrient depletion is more common than we think. Many of us lack sufficient dietary intake; we eat on the go, we eat unhealthy foods or we skip meals entirely. Combined with increased demand for nutrients due to chronic stress, travel, infection or illness, as well as the ever-diminishing nutrient status of our soil, our need for nutrient support is more essential than ever. At a cellular level, metabolism and active transport mechanisms become compromised as the cell becomes chronically undernourished, leading to dysfunction at a tissue, organ and eventually system level.
IV therapy delivers high doses of micronutrients that readily absorb from your blood to your cells, delivering fuel directly to your tissues. When we ingest nutrients from food and oral supplements, they must be broken down by our digestive system before being absorbed into our blood, meaning, a portion of these nutrients gets lost to metabolism before they ever reach our cells. When you infuse nutrients directly into the bloodstream, you bypass the digestive system, thus achieving a higher blood concentration beyond what is orally possible. This high concentration creates a concentration gradient, forcing nutrients from your blood into your cells, right where you want them be. This delivery method is especially useful in conditions where digestive function has been compromised. Conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, acute illness or infection, chronic stress, ulcers, allergies, and small bowel resection can all benefit from IV therapy. In chronic disease states or depletion, larger amounts of nutrients can be comfortably and safely delivered into the body.
A Therapeutic Level of Nutrients
Though the best way to nourish your body is to eat a wholesome diet, we all need a little support from time to time. Oral supplements can play a valuable role in many treatment plans but it's important to recognize the limitations of these products, especially drugstore brands where the quality, purity and concentration can't always be accounted for. In addition, side effects of high oral doses of certain vitamins and minerals can cause unpleasant side effects like nausea, cramping or lose stool. IV therapy avoids digestive disturbance by bypassing the digestive system, and uses only safe, pharmaceutical grade nutrients; the same kind used in hospitals all over the world. IV vitamin and mineral therapy acts to improve the function of your cells and your immune system, helps protect cells from damage and works to decrease the inflammatory burden of oxidative stress in your body. Simply put, refuelling and replenishing your nutrient status supports your ability to heal and prevents future illness.
Formulations vary based on the goal of treatment, but the following nutrients are generally included in the our IV Drips in varying amounts:
- Trace Minerals
- Vitamins B5, B6, B9, B12, B-Complex
- Vitamin C
- Amino Acids
